This coffee is a washed process offering from the Huehuetenango region, situated in the western portion of Guatemala. The La Morena Project was started by green coffee importers Genuine Origin in 2016 to promote equal coffee farming opportunity for Guatemalan women, and since then the project has grown nicely. This coffee was grown at an elevation of 5'000-6,500 ft., and has flavor notes of strawberry, black tea, fig, and vanilla.
